School Dress Code

Middle School/High School:

Students MUST wear:

  • Shirts:  Must have sleeves and may not show cleavage or midriffs.

  • Cold-weather:  Sweatshirts or jackets (NO HOODS)

  • Dresses, shorts, skirts, or skirt slits at knee length or below. 

  • Pants, shorts, or skirts worn above the hip bone (undergarments may not be visible.)

    • Rips may not go higher than 2 inches above the knee

  • Shoes, tennis shoes, sandals, crocs with a back strap, or boots

Students Must NOT Wear:

  •  House slippers in any form or clothing that is pajama type in nature

  •  Anything that exposes undergarments or is see-through or sheer in nature, or is tight and revealing

  • Clothing, accessories, bandanas, jewelry or flags associated with gangs or referencing drugs, tobacco, alcohol, weapons, violence, or sex. 

  • Flags of any nationality other than U.S. Flag (Stars and Stripes)

  •  Accessories that create a safety concern (wallet chains, studded necklaces, wrist bands, rings, hair picks, large combs)

  • Long shirts that go past mid hipbone

  • Leggings, jeggings, board shorts


  • Head wear, including but not limited to hats, visors, bandanas, hoods on head, sunglasses (on face while in school), shower caps, stocking/wave caps

  • Flip Flops or backless shoes
